Description:

Discover the ancient history and religious heritage of Albania on a day tour to Apollonia and Ardenica Monastery. Your tour will start in the morning around 09:00, when your guide will meet you at your hotel and transfer you to Apollonia. Apollonia is one of the oldest archaeological sites in Albania, and you will have the opportunity to visit the ancient site and the archaeological museum. You will also visit the church of Apollonia, an impressive monument that dates back to the 5th century BC.

After exploring Apollonia, you will depart for Ardenica Monastery, located on a hill overlooking the valley and the Adriatic Sea. The monastery is one of the most interesting in Albania, and it features beautiful frescoes made by Albanian painters. Nearby the monastery, there is a restaurant where you can enjoy a delicious lunch.

During the tour, your knowledgeable guide will share insights into the history and cultural significance of the sites you visit. The tour will end with a return transfer to Berat. This tour is perfect for those interested in ancient history, religious heritage, and beautiful scenery.
