Terms and Conditions<\/strong><\/p>\n

These Terms and Conditions apply to any tours booked with Visit Berat, part of the VATO Group, which also includes Visit Albania Tour Operator. These Terms & Conditions govern the contractual relationship between Visit Berat and yourself. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully; by booking any tour with Visit Berat, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions and accept and agree to be bound by them. If you have confirmed a booking on any tours with multiple clients named on such a booking, you shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions on behalf of all clients named in the booking (including minors and those with a disability), and all clients in that group indicate their acceptance and agreement to these Terms and Conditions. The client who confirmed the booking is considered the main contact for all other clients named in that booking.<\/p>\n

Deposits & Final Payments<\/h3>\n

Upon booking a tour with Visit Berat, a 30% deposit is required to secure the tour and begin the necessary booking processes and ground preparations. An invoice will be sent to the client with payment instructions.<\/p>\n

Final balance payment of the tour booked is required no later than 21 days before the tour starts. Bookings made within 21 days of the tour start date must be paid in full.<\/p>\n

All payments made to Visit Berat should be free of bank charges and credit card transaction surcharges. Visit Berat is not responsible for any charges levied by third parties or financial institutions as a result of credit card or other payment transactions. No refunds or returns of fees charged by such third parties will be made.<\/p>\n

Booking Agreement<\/h3>\n

A booking is confirmed, and these Terms and Conditions apply once Visit Berat has received the applicable deposit from the client, and the client has received written confirmation from Visit Berat. The client confirming the booking must be 18 years or older and agrees to provide full, complete, and accurate information as requested by Visit Berat.<\/p>\n

Cancellation Policy<\/h3>\n

Clients may cancel their booking by notifying Visit Berat. The applicable cancellation fees are based on the date on which the request is received by Visit Berat and are expressed as a percentage of the total tour price:<\/p>\n

• 35 days or more before the tour:<\/strong> No Cancellation Fees<\/li>\n
• 11 \u2013 34 days before the tour:<\/strong> 30% Cancellation Fee<\/li>\n
• 3 \u2013 10 days before the tour:<\/strong> 50% Cancellation Fee<\/li>\n
• Within 48 hours before the tour:<\/strong> 100% Cancellation Fee<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Tailor-made tours may have alternative cancellation terms, communicated at booking time.<\/p>\n

  Travel Insurance<\/h3>\n

  Visit Berat does not provide travel insurance. Clients must obtain travel insurance from their home country covering medical, evacuation, and repatriation for all travel dates. Coverage for personal injury and emergency medical expenses is required, and it is strongly recommended that clients extend their coverage to include cancellation and other potential expenses.<\/p>\n

  Special Requirements<\/h3>\n

  Visit Berat will strive to accommodate special requests such as dietary or accommodation needs, but such requests do not form part of these Terms and Conditions.<\/p>\n

  Prices, Surcharges & Taxes<\/h3>\n

  Visit Berat will inform clients of any surcharges due to tax or government actions that substantially impact tour costs. Notice will be provided as soon as reasonably possible. Clients may cancel the booking without penalty or accept the price change by notifying Visit Berat within 14 days of receiving notice.<\/p>\n

  Guaranteed Departures & Cancellation of a Tour<\/h3>\n

  Visit Berat guarantees all scheduled group tour departures once at least one client has a confirmed booking. If Visit Berat cancels a tour due to reasons beyond the client\u2019s control, the client can choose from available substitutes or a full refund.<\/p>\n

  Cancellation & Changes<\/h3>\n

  Clients acknowledge that itineraries, accommodations, amenities, and transport modes may change without prior notice due to various circumstances, including extreme weather, political disputes, or entry difficulties. Visit Berat is not liable for such changes. Missed or unused services due to the client\u2019s own fault are not eligible for refunds.<\/p>\n

  Complaints<\/h3>\n

  Visit Berat is not liable for complaints that are not brought to its attention in a timely manner during the tour. Any post-tour complaint must be received in writing within 30 days of tour completion.<\/p>\n

  Liability<\/h3>\n

  Visit Berat is not liable for any damages, losses, or claims arising from client fault, third-party acts, or force majeure events. Clients are responsible for the safety of their belongings at all times. Visit Berat assumes no liability for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.<\/p>\n
